Job Overview: DevOps Engineer
We are a stealth mode startup and work in a fast-pace agile development model. We are looking for DevOps Engineers to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation software platform using next generation technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on software developer with significant experience in developing scalable data and cloud platforms. We’re looking for someone with interest/experience in application deployment. They must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in software deployment. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in software deployment
- Hands on experience in orchestration tools to deploy applications
- Ability to develop software in terraform, Ansible, jenkins
- Excellent knowledge of scripting
- Preferred Experience in Kubernetes
- Preferred Hands on Cloud providers like AWS, GCP, AZURE, OCI
- Understanding of REST/SOAP HTTP web services
- Support, maintain and document software functionality
- Integrate software with existing systems
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
- Manage and monitor large scale deployment
